Oxfam America
The new Oxfam America website, slated to launch in June 2009, is the culmination of 18 months of user test scenarios, usability studies, wireframes, multiple designs, and development from the ground up on Plone. My role in this project was to assist in those planning stages and lead in the development of the public facing theme, written in a flexible, em-based grid.
Jamie Lynn Spears
Approached by Groundrush Media, I assisted in helping this design firm optimize their front-end code for better SEO and wrote some of the code myself to help integrate the XML-based parts of this flash website.
Sexual Violence in the DRC
In March 2008 I travelled with Oxfam America to the Democratic Republic of Congo where I spent a month filming our project work in the area. DR Congo has suffered over a decade of violence and rape has become a weapon of war in this country torn apart by civil unrest. I shot the multimedia myself and the produced the multimedia with outside contractors.

The Singing Wells of Dubluq
Early on in my career with Oxfam I purchased compact multimedia camera for Oxfam America's writers to bring with them to the field. One of them came back with this story of how Oxfam worked with one community in Ethiopia to build a sustainable system for hauling water. I recorded the narration for this piece and did all the multimedia and audio editing.

Oxfam America Unwrapped
Launched in October 2006, Oxfam America has raised over $3.5 million in donations. I originally developed the site around a proprietary, hosted solution. I supervised a six-month evaluation process in choosing a new platform and then developed the theme of the website.

Best American Short Stories
The official website of the Houghton Mifflin Publishing Company's most well read anthologies. I was the developer for this project, originally building the website with the Django framework to facilitate a quick launch. Later, when the site required more featured, I rebuilt the website in Expression Engine to ensure it remained scalable toward additional features.
Rocsi Diaz
I was brought into this project to assist with front-end development, jQuery implementation, and administration of ModX, the CMS behind the website.
Cue Acoustics
I assisted in developing the information architecture and coded the templates around this minimalist design, a placeholder as we work with the client to deliver an eCommerce solution developed on the Magento platform (relaunch pending).
Arlington Chiropractice
I designed, developed and configured the hosting for Arlington Chiropractic, a small business in Arlington, MA. The site has successfully increased business for the company since it's launch.
Leslie North
Designed and developed to help Leslie North, a CPA in Illinois, with her clients.
North & McQuillian Law
Designed and developed for a law firm in Illinois. I also regularly act as a consultant for online advertising and SEO. I also setup the client with the Google Apps platform for email and office management.
